McKell Elementary will not be accepting any outside deliveries for students for the 2023-2024 school year. However, we are excited to partner with Misty Lacy of Misty's Flower and Candy Kitchen on a fundraiser that will directly benefit our students and will offer parents and grandparents a way to send their student(s) a special treat for their birthdays. We will also be working with Misty to send Valentine goodies to students later on in the school year so stay tuned! Students will be bringing home order forms within the next day or so. Please fill out the form and return it in an envelope with payment. Make checks payable to Misty's Flower and Candy Kitchen.
All Birthday Gram order forms are due by the end of the day on Friday, September 22nd.

Parents/Guardians: Please make note that McKell Elementary has a new start time and new dismissal time. School begins promptly at 7:50 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. Rider Line drop off will be from 7:10 AM-7:49 AM. Riders wanting to eat a hot breakfast need to be here no later than 7:35 AM.
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 30th. Kindergarten parents and parents of students who are NEW to McKell Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year are welcome to walk their child to their classroom on the first day of school from 7:10 AM-7:45 AM. Returning students need to plan on riding the bus or being dropped off in the rider line. Our entire staff will be on duty these first few days to ensure that all students get to where they need to be. We will be having open house in September so that all families can come in and see their child's classroom at that time. Thank you!
A program for all GC students ranging from grades 3-8! WES includes 2nd grade as well. After school activities from 3-6pm include sports, games, enrichment, and homework help! "Breakfast Club" before school is also available. Sign up and find more info using the link below!

Thanks to the generous donation by the Amvets Post 95 Ladies Auxillary, we were able to cross some school supplies off your student's list!
Please make sure to label all supplies brought in. Any extra supplies will be stored and used as needed throughout the school year.
