PASSION PROJECTS: CHICKENPALOOZA During the week before spring break, our building embarked on a million learning adventures through our Passion Projects! This week, we'll be sharing many of those moments with you! Ms. Bowling organized and facilitated a Passion Project focused on establishing our first clutch of chicks at Wurtland Middle School. She had help and support from Ms. Dawndy Wagner and Mrs. Rebecca Spencer. COLLEAGUE CREDIT Mr. Mike Doran shares that the principals at Wurtland Middle School, Brandi Litteral and Melissa Bowling, have a whole-person approach to education and wellness. They go well out of their ways to make certain that everyone in the building is educated and nurtured, not just according to Kentucky Department of Education standards. They work to make certain that personal interests and career options are considered and that creativity, curiosity, and senses of expression are also being fed in wholesome and meaningful ways. They are why Wurtland Middle School is an awesome place to teach and to learn!
