GUITARS FOR KIDS Each year, an organization called Guitars for Kids partners with RS Guitarworks of Winchester, Kentucky to bring a well-deserving child a new guitar. The only requirement is for the student to have a love of music and benefit from this gift. This year, Gabe Brown received a brand new Yamaha acoustic guitar. He was so excited and overwhelmed! Gabe is a student in both band and orchestra and plans to continue his musical endeavor throughout high school. Congratulations!

REQUEST FOR IDENTIFICATION Good evening, everyone! When arriving at Wurtland Middle School to pick-up your son/daughter at any point during the school day, please make sure that you present a valid form of identification to members of our staff in the main office. This is not to cause anyone any extra undue stress at any point. Instead, however, it is to make certain that all members of our student body, along with our entire school building, remain safe and secure at all times. Recently, we have noticed several individuals questioning this procedure; however, the presentation of a valid form of identification is required. As always, we are happy to address any questions and/or concerns and will continue to work in the best interests of all of our students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders! Thank you for understanding of and compliance with this regulation!
